How to Use a Storytelling Template
Copy a Template
Find a template you want to use and click “copy template”. If you are logged in, you will be directed to the storyboard creator. If you are not logged in, you will be directed to do so or to set up an account.
Save Your Storyboard
Once you are in the creator, you will be prompted to give your storyboard a name. Be sure to choose something that clearly states what your project is.
Customize Your Storyboard Layout
Make any changes to the template layout that you would like. Some changes may include:
- Adding or removing cells
- Customizing text, including adding text boxes
- Changing the cell layout
- Adding or removing title and/or description boxes
- Adding characters, scenes, symbols, or other artwork

What are the Different Types of Storytelling Templates?
