Das Judentum ist eine der ältesten kontinuierlich praktizierten Religionen der Welt und begann vor etwa 4.000 Jahren. Heute wird das Judentum weltweit von etwa 15 Millionen Menschen praktiziert. Diese alte Religion war die erste, die monotheistisch war (Glaube an einen Gott) und ist die Wurzel der beiden größten Religionen von heute, dem Christentum und dem Islam.
