- New York's nickname is the Empire State, due to its vast amount of resources and wealth. Its state motto is Excelsior, which represents believing in a bright and better future of excellence.

- Located in Manhattan, Times Square is filled with stores, billboards, and buildings. It is the home of Broadway and many other entertainment venues. Over 300,000 people pass through Times Square on any given day!
