Stanley Yelnats is the main character.

OOPS! THERE'S A PROBLEM
He is accused of stealing a pair of shoes and sent to a boys detention camp.

HOW IS IT RESOLVED?
Although, the camp is hard he meets a friend and together they break Stanley's curse and find buried treasure.

In the end Zero and Stanley leave the camp. Zero is reunited with his mom.
