The five regions of the United States all have many things about them that make them unique. The Southeast region, which includes 12 states, has a rich culture, exceptional climate, and is certainly a hot spot for tourists. The Southeast is the home of the blues, delicious food, and, of course, Disney World! Hop aboard as we take a tour of the Southeast and learn all about what makes it such a wonderful place to live and visit!

- Because it is so close to the equator, the Southeast has warm and sunny weather much of the time.

- I hope that boat gets in soon!
- The Southeast is close to two major bodies of water, the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Because of this, it is prone to thunderstorms and hurricanes.

- Cooler in Highlands
- It's chilly today.
- It sure is!
- The mountainous parts of the Southeast are cooler, due to the higher elevation.
