Point of View Definition | Point of view is the vantage point from which a story is told. It is the stance from which the action and events of the story unfold. The three most common types are first person, third person limited, and third person omniscient.

- First person is told by the main character using I, me, my; third person limited uses he, she, they and describes the events, but cannot reveal more than the main character's thoughts; third person omniscient can access any character's thoughts or feelings.
