Where Do Polar Bears Live? shares many interesting facts about polar bears. Students will compile these facts and illustrate them using in a storyboard. For an added touch, students can compile more facts using other books or the Internet.


Example Polar Bear Facts

  1. "When this polar bear cub is full grown, he will be the biggest hunter on land. If he stood on his hind legs, his head would brush the ceiling of your living room."

  2. "He will weigh as much as three tigers."

  3. "Polar bears get too hot more easily than they get too cold. They stretch out on the ice to cool off."
