- Colombia is the 2nd most biodiverse country in the world with species of more than 1,821 birds, 623 amphibians, 467 mammals, 518 reptiles, and 3,200 fish! The Andean Condor is the national bird and the orchid is the national flower!
- Colombian coffee is considered by many to be the best in the world! Colombia's coffee region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Did you know?Colombia's Flag: Yellow is for the abundant gold;Blue is for the seas; Red represents the bloody fight for independence!
- Bogotá, the capital, is the most populated city in the country with 7.7 million people!
