- Nevada's nickname is the Silver State, pertaining to when silver was fist discovered in the state, leading to the huge migration boom. The state motto is "All for Our Country".

- A very popular place to visit in Nevada is Las Vegas. Commonly known as "Vegas", more than 42 million tourists visit annually. Las Vegas is home to more than half of the 20 largest hotels in the world, and more than 22,000 business conventions are held in the city each year!
