- The Crossover is a heartwarming story about growing up as an identical twin. Josh loves hoops and strives to be just like his dad one day. However, life has other plans and Josh must learn to navigate being an almost teenager and all that goes along with it.

- Josh and JB are identical twins who are almost 13 years old. They are both basketball superstars, but are nothing alike. Josh is quiet, has dreadlocks down to his neck, and is known for his speed. JB is loud, has a buzz cut, and is known for his jumps. Middle school isn't easy, but it's even harder when you have a twin and you are finding out who you are without him.

- JB gets a girlfriend and spends less and less time with his brother. After losing a bet, Josh lets JB cut off one of his dreadlocks, but JB accidentally cuts off five! Their mom makes Josh cut them all off, which devastates Josh and makes him feel like he's lost his unique sense of self.
